Pirelli will soon be marking 150th anniversary since its foundation on the 28 January 1872.
The current Executive Vice Chairman and CEO of Pirelli, Mr. Marco Tronchetti Provera recently said, “The attention to product quality and production processes, to cutting-edge research, to the market’s international culture as well as to the wellbeing of people in the workplace worldwide, demonstrated by the founder Giovanni Battista Pirelli and subsequently by his sons Alberto and Piero and grandson Leopoldo still characterize Pirelli today”.
Pirelli tyres are imported by Autoxpress in the East African market. Autoxpress has had a long distribution relationship with the Italian tyre maker. Pirelli manufactures innovative tyres and this cannot be emphasized enough especially with their current F1 tyre supply status.
