While tyres are of low-interest to some, a section of motorists may perceived them as high-cost products that are only a necessity.

We are of the other views; we believe that tyres are the most important part of your car and that every motorist should be interested in tyres. Those four bits of rubber wrapped around your wheels are your only connection with the road, and without them you wouldn’t be able to drive.

Here is a list of desirable properties of a tyre;

  1. Load carrying.
  2. Provide cushioning.
  3. Uniform wear.
  4. Provide great traction (none skidding).
  5. Low power consumption.
  6. Low noise generation.
  7. Great balance.
  8. High durability.

Tyres are so complex and their uses can be so varied, that standardized wear rates are almost impossible to observe in real world use.
